Malgrat de Mar is a small town in Spain. Next year we are going there for a vacation. Here what I have found about this fantastic place: From the city of Malgrat de Mar up to the Barcelona the coast is built up by almost continuous line: at an edge of a surf alternate the old settlements, new resorts and the whole quarters of beautiful villas - it is a very popular place at Catalonian people. The ancient seaside city of Malgrat de Mar, located on border of provinces Barcelona and Jeron, for last 10 years of rapid development of tourism has turned in one of the advanced and prospering resorts of coast Costa del Maresme. The huge sandy beaches, washed by ideally pure quiet sea, last along city quay and further on many kilometers. The city conditionally is shared on two parts - the historical part which has kept in the photogenic kind, known as "old city", and the modern part which has been built up by numerous hotels and the entertaining centers, named by "new city". Brisk quay Passeig Maritim connects old city to this newest tourist area smoothly passing in the next resort of coast - Santa Susanna. Along the quay being a favorite place of walks of tourists, are constructed the modern hotels alternating with stunning set of bars, cafe, night clubs, discos, souvenir shops and the shops offering all kinds of the goods from fashionable clothes, dear ornaments and perfumery up to every possible souvenirs and beach accessories. It something reminds me Paphos on Cyprus where all coast is built up by Cyprus villas and hotels. Where at each corner something is sell or something tasty smells. Here it is easily possible to rent a villa or to rent the apartment and it is almost impossible to check-in in a popular hotel where a lot of tourists come from England. The cuisine here certainly strongly differs from Spanish one, but very original if not eating in a tourist zone.
